Founded in 1978, Bayboro Pharmacy and Wellness Center is the oldest independent community pharmacy in Pamlico County. Our owners, Jonathan and Lori Altman, are native Pamlicoans with a heart for their community. Our mission is to provide individualized, personalized, and optimized quality care to our patients, whether its lifestyle coaching, supplement recommendation, or medication management. Jonathan keeps our operations running smoothly with a tech savvy mindset and a servant heart. He is a former law enforcement officer and a trusted community leader. Most of all, he is a proud father of three.
Lori Altman
PharmD, Pharmacist-in-Charge & Diabetes and Wellness Services Director
Lori is our co owner and a pharmacist devoted to education and prevention. She is an accredited diabetes educator who helps patients build healthy habits. Outdoors is her happy place, and she is a mom of three.
Fran Banks
Customer Service Rep & OTC Specialist
Fran brings joy and a quick smile to every visit. Her playful petty crown personality keeps our team laughing. She is our go to for over the counter guidance.
Robert Bero

Bobby leads our vaccine services and supports clinical care. He is a UNC alumnus, a preceptor, and a family man who loves to bake.
